The annual Duluth Homegrown Music Festival was May 2nd-8th and virtual this year. In order to lift up local artists, WDIO featured live performances all week. We were able to play our song “Juniper” live on the 6PM news. Click here to watch.

Live on WTIP Grand Marais
Breanne Marie & The Front Porch Sinners recently made their first trip to Grand Marais to play a gig at the Wunderbar. But, before they played there, they stopped by The Roadhouse to play some of their original tunes, as well as some classic country covers.

In May this Duluth country band went to Nashville to record 5 songs for their new EP, Salt in the Snow. They released the EP on November 21st at Bent Paddle Brewery in Duluth. We got a preview when they joined us in the studio the same day.

I've always been involved in music, and right now because the clubs aren't open there are musicians not working, so I decided to showcase some of them.
One of the artists I am showcasing is Breanne Marie and the Front Porch Sinners. Breanne describes their music as Great Lakes Country. Breanne started as a solo artist with her debut album called "Six Strings Of Peace And Sanity". It was mainly songs that were carved out of tragedy after her father's suicide and her brother's death from a car crash.
